On my previous post, I shared how James had apparently gotten "married" while still married to someone else. I expressed that such actions made James either a bigamist or a liar.
Turns out there's no "or" to it. According to Missouri law, if one even purports to marry, while still married to someone else, they have committed the criminal offense of bigamy.
Revised Statutes of Missouri 568.010. (LINK)
1. A married person commits the crime of bigamy if he:
(1) Purports to contract another marriage; or
(2) Cohabits in this state after a bigamous marriage in another jurisdiction.
So James, even if you had a "fluff" wedding, by Missouri law, you have committed the jailable offense of bigamy. And, since this is a repeat offense, that might be good for an enhanced penalty.

SO, if he has committed a jailable offense, how does he go about being charged?
They need to just take away this man's right to marry since he's obviously abused that right one too many times. I don't know how the new bride's parents can think there is nothing wrong with a grown ass man of James's age having such a shady history, legal issues, gap work history, etc.
To say that he needs his ability to marry removed is an understatement. He's a dangerous person and should be treated as such.
I'm of the mind that if the charges are true(which they are) then he needs to be either put under house arrest or possibly moved to Siberia.
This all make me incredibly sick. Knowing one of the girls who he took advantage of, seeing the devastation he left behind, and thinking how this could repeat itself again and again...it hurts. *sigh*
I know James Ference. He scares the living hell out of me to be honest. He's not only a liar, he is a perpetual manipulator, a horrible father, and an even more horrible friend. My husband became James' guardian when James (Jimmy as we call him) was 17 years of age. James has always been a liar. He owes us $2,000.00 and years of heartache he gave to my husband, who was trying to be a good example to James. Jimmy is no good. We know his first? (who knows now) Susie. She is an AMAZING person and I'm shocked she stuck with him for as long as she did! I feel sorry for his kids (who I will not name here). Seeing as how Jimmy grew up with his parents not wanting him, and his adoptive parents catching on FAST to his B.S...it shocks me endlessly that he would turn around and do the exact same thing to his own children, and worse.
The ONLY time Jimmy ever befriends someone is when he has something to gain from the meeting. Whether it be romantic, friendship, business, doesn't matter. If there's something in it for Jimmy, he'll act like your best friend. I am SO GLAD my husband realized what a snake Jimmy is. He no longer has any contact with him, and hasn't for a very long time, thankfully.
James is VERY good at manipulation and deception...I wouldn't hesitate to title him a professional con artist. He is NOT sorry for anything he has done, because he keeps repeating the same things to other people. He owes one of his wives in excess of $50,000.00 and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Jimmy needs to be placed in a padded cell somewhere!
So what's James up to these days? Paying any child support? Has he knocked up his teenage "bride" yet?
Last I heard he was still with his teenage bride. I know people have sent her the link to this blog, but she still went ahead with the "marriage". She has to have some serious issues to deny the things posted on this blog and court records showing he is a liar and bigamist.
Yes, they are still together. I know them both... and she seems very happy. As far as I know there's no baby on the way...at least she hasn't said anything to me about it yet.
Yeah, she will seem happy until the inevitable sh*^ hits the fan.
